2022 Wrap-Up is here: Farcana sums up the year
2022 was a fantastic time and a solid foundation for our company. Despite the market turbulence, Farcana stands strong and keeps growing.
We started from scratch in January 2022.
Today, we are a team of 68 truly unique individuals who believe in making a difference by bringing the most exciting shooter to the Web3 gaming market!
Let’s rewind 2022 for Farcana — it was jam-packed with noteworthy events, worthwhile alliances, technological and scientific breakthroughs, and countless days and hours spent creating, connecting, learning, and evolving.
- Game development is in full swing, and we are onboarding the best professionals from the industry. Before joining Farcana, our teammates worked on Fortnite, Doom, Halo, Spiderman, Skyrim, Battlefront 2, Fallout, Left4Dead, Call of Duty: BlackOps 4, The Last of Us, Final Fantasy XV, and at EA, Gameloft, Wargaming, Ubisoft.
- Last November, we held the very first gameplay trial in Dubai. This saw gamers worldwide come to the metropolis to test our game and give feedback for future developments.
- We have released two cinematic trailers with over 380K views on our official YouTube channel.

- Our very own Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Dimitry Mihaylov, has organized and structured Farcana Labs — the scientific and engineering arm of Farcana that supplies AI solutions and wearable hardware to the gaming industry. - In 2022, Farcana Labs invented over 20 AI-powered technologies for the gaming industry, including Farcana Mouse, Glove, Generative Sound, Headphones, Coach, Voice assistant, Generative Visual A, and Play-to-Hash protocol.
- Farcana Labs built technological partnerships with scientists and research groups from top universities from across the globe: the National University of Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, BRICS University of Future Networks, King Saud University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Jalalabad State University.
- In 2022, Farcana has partnered with over 20 markable projects from the Web3 market, including Stacks, Digital Arms, MarsDAO, Xandar, HyperMove, Dragon War, ZoA, Metarun, UniFi Group, Arena Games, IKONIC, Playdex, Galaxy Arena, Investdex, PikaCrypto, CanaBoyz, IQ Protocol, Tank Metaverse, Double Protocol, Gains Associates, etc.

- Later this spring, our CEO and founder Ilman Shazhaev spoke at the AIBC summit in Dubai on GameFi and presented Farcana.
- In April, Farcana held a private event highlighting the official patenting of its unique Play-to-Hash model.
- In November, the core team of Farcana traveled to Philippine Web3 Festival in Manila, met Binance, Polygon, Huawei, YGG, IndiGG, and OKC, and demonstrated the game in this Asian hub of Web3 adoption.
